FAITH FORMATION
Classes for kindergarten to eighth grade Faith Formation will begin in October 2020. We are offering classes in the Parish Center twice a month with a significantly reduced number of students in each room, following recommendations of the CDC and New York State require- ments. Classes for special needs and older students who want to receive the sacraments are offered too. Our parish’s program partners with parents in passing on the Catholic faith and preparing their children for First Reconciliation (Confession), First Communion, and Confirmation.
Parent meetings will be offered in the church and through online virtual meeting platforms, giving parents choices to better accommodate complicated family schedules with the unknowns of Covid-19. The Family Program’s parent classes requirement will be on hold this academic year (2020-2021) as we determine how and if it can continue with the challenges of Covid-19.
